Reporting directly to the Chief of the Commission and Tribunals, you'll serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, helping to manage information flow, priorities, and executive operations.
In this highly visible role, you'll work independently and exercise sound judgment while supporting executive leadership in navigating complex, sensitive, and high-profile matters.
You won't just respond to emerging priorities - you'll help anticipate them. By identifying risks, opportunities, and process improvements before they become issues, you'll play a key role in ensuring executive focus remains on the Commission's highest priorities.
You'll act as a central point of coordination between leadership, Commission staff, government partners, and external stakeholders, ensuring information, requests, and priorities are effectively triaged and managed. Your ability to anticipate needs, balance competing demands, and maintain strict confidentiality will be essential to supporting executive leadership and advancing the Commission's work.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll help maximize leadership capacity by managing critical workflows, coordinating responses to emerging issues, and supporting informed decision-making.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating executive priorities, information flow, and activities to support effective leadership operations.
- Triaging incoming issues, requests, correspondence, and emerging priorities while coordinating timely and effective responses across the organization.
- Preparing briefings, correspondence, presentations, and other materials that support leadership decision-making and organizational priorities.
- Coordinating relationships and communications with Commission staff, government partners, external stakeholders, and other ministries to ensure seamless information sharing and collaboration.
- Supporting executive operations through calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, budget tracking, and workflow management.
- Providing strategic advice and guidance on administrative processes, briefing requirements, and issue management practices across the Commission.
