We’re seeking a Shop Assistant to support our Service department and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Assist technicians, apprentices, and other Service team members with day-to-day shop needs

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe automotive shop area

Transport parts, supplies, materials, tools, and equipment throughout the shop and dealership

Check and organize supplies, materials, hand tools, and power tools

Assist with cleaning, painting, lubricating, repairing, and maintaining shop equipment

Assist with the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials

Support a safe work environment and follow all applicable health and safety procedures

Answer telephones and assist with routine inquiries when required

Provide support to other areas of the dealership as needed

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Shop Foreman or Service Manager

A reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office is an asset

Ability to safely lift and move items weighing 50 lbs or more

Previous automotive, dealership, maintenance, or shop experience is an asset
