Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bar and dining spaces
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with excellent time management skills
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance customer experience
- Adhere to all food industry regulations and hospitality standards to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant service, food industry, or hospitality roles preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Basic math skills for handling bills, cash transactions, and making change accurately
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly and adhere to alcohol serving laws
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with guests confidently
- Experience with cashiering, food service, serving, and food handling is highly desirable
