Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Extrusion Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery used to produce high-quality plastic o. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and consistent product quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with manufacturing equipment, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.
*Must have experience with Counter Balance- Electric*
12 Hours Continental Shifts
7am to 7pm|7pm to 7am
Duties
- Set up and operate extrusion machines, ensuring proper calibration and alignment for optimal output
- Monitor machine operations continuously, adjusting parameters as needed to maintain product specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues promptly
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and quality standards
- Perform quality inspections on finished products, documenting results and addressing any deviations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist with changeovers, material loading, and troubleshooting CNC lathe or other machining equipment when required
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying waste reduction opportunities and process improvements
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely to handle raw materials and finished goods
- Collaborate with team members in assembly processes and quality assurance activities
