Our client is seeking an Accounting Administrator to support day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate, timely accounting processes. This is a well-rounded role that combines accounting responsibilities with administrative support, making it ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Process and manage payroll on a regular basis
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Prepare and submit CRA filings and payments
- Assist with contract administration and job costing
- Perform daily banking, reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations
- Support year-end processes and external audits
- Provide general administrative support including answering phones, opening mail, and greeting clients
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
