We Are Looking For:
We are currently looking for a Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role will join our dedicated team on the day shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm), working on-site in our facility located in Puslinch, ON.
Primary Responsibilities:
- General assembly duties for vehicle restraints, lift tables and/or dock levelers and related components.
- Assembly of machinery components, installation and tightening of fasteners, etc.
- Use of manual hand tools.
- May include use of overhead crane to facilitate lifting.
- Material handling duties as required.
- Replenish inventory as required.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area, as well as work as efficiently as possible.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance to legislation and Company policies. This includes working in required PPE (steel toed boots, safety glasses, etc.)
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment considered a strong asset.
- Some experience using hand tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, continually adapting to change and work under pressure.
