Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing personalized treatment plans to improve patient mobility and overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals
- Develop and implement customized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient evaluations
- Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, and function through therapeutic exercises and modalities
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, health maintenance, and post-treatment care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Stay current with advances in physiotherapy techniques and participate in ongoing professional development
Experience
- Prior hospital experience is preferred, especially within acute care or pediatric settings
- Proven experience in patient care, demonstrating empathy and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice is essential
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, is a plus
- Certification or licensure as a licensed Physiotherapist is required to ensure compliance with licensing standards
