Key Responsibilities
Food Service & Quality Control
- Prepare and assemble food to order, ensuring high standards for freshness and presentation.
- Assisting the head baker as required with preparation of baked goods.
- Setting up the morning displays and making sure everything is organized and labeled properly.
Cleanliness & Maintenance
- Manage the dishwashing station and ensure all equipment, pans, and tools are cleaned and sanitized throughout the shift.
- Help keep the prep and assembly areas organized, clean, and compliant with food safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Multi-tasking Skills: Ability to switch between various tasks efficiently.
- Detail-Oriented: Ensuring that finished products meet company standards for presentation.
- Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety standards and provincial health regulations is considered a significant asset.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, food service, or a bakery setting is preferred but not required.
