Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a diesel mechanic.
- 310T Truck & Coach Technician license.
- Experience using diagnostic software is considered an asset.
- Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn new programs and systems.
- Must meet all company standards for safety-sensitive positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair operational issues on heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel, CNG, gasoline, and electric-powered
equipment and vehicles.
- Complete work orders, repair reports, and parts requests; perform required
administrative tasks daily.
- Plan and schedule repairs using the M5 planner and procure required parts to execute
the plan.
- Review mechanical write-ups and coordinate repair schedules with operations.
- Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner and in compliance with company and
regulatory safety requirements.
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain and provide the necessary tools to perform all required maintenance and repair
tasks.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable federal/provincial regulations.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
