Rise Developments is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Hardwood Flooring & Finish Carpenter Helper to join our team working on custom homes and residential construction projects throughout the Edmonton area.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in construction, flooring installation, and finishing carpentry while working alongside experienced tradespeople on high-end residential projects.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in flooring installation, finishing carpentry, or residential construction and be eager to further develop their skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with hardwood, laminate, vinyl plank, and engineered flooring installation
- Supporting finishing carpentry work including:
- Baseboards
- Door casings
- Trim installation
- Interior finishing details
- Preparing and organizing materials and tools
- Maintaining clean and safe job sites
- Assisting lead installers and carpenters on active projects
- Measuring, cutting, and material preparation
What We’re Looking For
- Construction, flooring, or carpentry experience is an asset
- Hardwood flooring installation experience is considered a strong asset
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
- Overtime available during busy periods
Experience (Preferred)
- Construction: 1 year
- Hardwood Flooring Installation: 1 year
- Finish Carpentry: 1 year
