Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with the school’s menu and dietary guidelines.
· Ensure all food is prepared safely and meets health and sanitation standards.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas.
· Responsible for dishwashing, general kitchen cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards at all times.
· Manage food inventory, ordering, and deliveries.
· Accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies as required.
· Work collaboratively with school administrators and staff to ensure smooth daily meal service.
Qualifications:
· Experience working as a cook, preferably in a school, childcare, or institutional setting.
· Knowledge of safe food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
· Valid Food Handler’s Certificate (required).
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently.
