Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Executive Director, perform administrative and office support activities for missionary field staff and 8 children’s ministries in Mexico in a manner to honor and glorify the Lord.
- Maintaining accounts, posting donations and processing PayPal donations
- Posting ministry updates on Facebook, Instagram and Epistle
- Prepare payables for bookkeeper and payroll
- Coordinate short term mission team planning including booking flights
- Overseeing and organizing the office
- Reception duties
Abilities/Skills:
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office
-Accounting/bookkeeping applications: QuickBooks and DONATION
-Strong organizational skills with attention to details
-Work independently and efficiently
-Applicant's ability to speak Spanish would be a big plus
Currently, this position is 0.75 FTE and involves a presence in the building for five days per week (8:30 am – 3:30 pm).
Salary will depend on the successful applicant's experience and education.
The position commences upon the move of the Children of Hope Society office to Vernon, BC, which is projected for the end of July 2026 or when Jeremy closes on a home in Vernon during summer 2026.
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
