Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Strata Caretaker to help keep our residential community clean, safe, well-maintained and welcoming for residents and visitors
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and experience in facilities maintenance. You will be responsible for maintaining common areas, performing repairs, and coordinating with contractors to uphold the highest standards of property care.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct regular property inspections and report maintenance needs, damage and bylaw concerns to the Strata Council or Property Manager.
- Perform general property upkeep, including litter and debris removal, graffiti removal, light bulb replacement, sign maintenance and keeping common areas clean and tidy.
- Maintain lawns and garden beds during the growing season, including watering twice weekly.
- Monitor and report parking and other bylaw violations.
- Maintain sidewalks during winter, including snow removal and application of de-icer/salt as required.
- Coordinate with and provide access to contractors when required, and supervise contracted maintenance work as directed.
- Receive deliveries and organize supplies in designated storage areas.
- Maintain a daily log of operations, inspections and occurrences.
- Assist residents and respond to general property-related concerns as directed by the Strata Council or Property Manager.
- Delivery of notices and other communications to residents when required.
- Help maintain mail kiosks, common facilities and surrounding areas in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other related caretaking and property maintenance duties as required.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a resident-focused approach.
- Comfortable performing routine outdoor maintenance and working in various weather conditions.
- Able to identify and report maintenance issues and bylaw concerns appropriately.
- Previous property maintenance, caretaking, building maintenance or strata experience is an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
