JOB DESCRIPTION
Skilled Workers
Independently perform steel framing, wood framing, and complex structural layout work
Install drywall, perform taping, mudding, patching, blueskin, and surface finishing to a professional standard
Complete finish carpentry tasks including door and window installation, baseboards, trims, millwork, feature walls, and detailed finishing work
Operate and maintain a wide range of professional tools and equipment such as laser levels, circular saws, cutting saws, drills, nailers, etc.
Operate boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers (if certified)
Guide and supervise labourers in completing supporting tasks
Ensure all work meets project quality standards, safety requirements, and timelines.
General Labour
Load, unload, and transport construction materials
Assist skilled trades workers with steel framing, wood framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry
Perform routine site maintenance and housekeeping
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Perform basic cutting tasks as required (using hand or power tools, under supervision)
Operate equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers (if certified)
Direct traffic at or near construction sites when required
Follow company safety policies and procedures
RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate professional tools and equipment such as laser levels, saws, drills, and nailers
Operate boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers (if certified)
Guide and supervise labourers
Ensure work meets quality, safety, and schedule requirements
Follow company policies and occupational health and safety regulations
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years construction experience
Experience in steel framing, wood framing, drywall finish, or finish carpentry
Experience on large commercial or residential sites is an asset
Supervisory or leadership experience is an asset
Strong knowledge of construction materials and tools
MANDATORY TRAINING & CERTIFICATIONS
WHMIS (Mandatory)
Fall Protection (Mandatory)
Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) – asset
First Aid / CPR – asset
Trade certification in carpentry or equivalent experience preferred
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English required
Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) considered an asset
REQUIRED PPE (OWN EQUIPMENT)
Steel-toed safety boots (minimum 6-inch height)
Type 2, Class E hard hat with chin strap (yellow)
Work gloves suitable for construction tasks
High-visibility vest, Class 2
Personal tools are an asset

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Pay: CA$25.00–CA$40.00 based on experience)
Full-time, fixed-term employment (12 months)
