Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Sushi Line Cook to join our team! While we provide full training on sushi-making techniques, we are looking for someone who already has basic kitchen experience and solid knife skills. If you have at least 1 year of restaurant kitchen experience and want to learn the art of sushi, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Food Prep: Efficiently slice, portion, and prepare high-quality ingredients and sushi rice.
Sushi Making: Learn and prepare sushi rolls, bowls, and other Japanese dishes according to our recipes.
Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary sushi station in compliance with food safety regulations.
Teamwork: Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth, fast, and high-quality service.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 1 year of restaurant kitchen/cook experience (Required).
Skills: knife skills and comfortable handling kitchen equipment. (Sushi experience is a plus, but not required—we will train you!)
Mindset: High attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work flexible shifts (including weekends).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
