Job Description
Smartspray Irrigation Ltd. is looking for a reliable and hardworking Landscape Maintenance Assistant to join our team.
The position involves working at residential and commercial properties throughout the Greater Toronto Area. This is a hands-on outdoor position involving landscape maintenance, garden care, irrigation work, and general outdoor projects.
Responsibilities
- Garden and landscape maintenance
- Planting flowers, shrubs, and small plants
- Weeding and cleaning garden beds
- Trimming and general property cleanup
- Assisting with irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Assisting with outdoor lighting projects
- Moving tools and landscaping materials
- Keeping work areas clean and organized
- Assisting the crew with daily job-site tasks
Requirements
- Must have a valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Must have your own reliable vehicle
- Must be able to travel independently to different job sites throughout Toronto and the GTA
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Able to perform physical work throughout the day
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Landscaping experience is an asset but not required
- Training can be provided
- Weekend availability is required
