Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mill Worker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various woodworking and machining equipment, assisting in the production of high-quality wood products, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Duties
- Operate woodworking machinery, CNC machines, and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble wood materials
- Use hand tools such as calipers, saws, drills, and sanders to refine products and ensure specifications are met
- Assist with carpentry tasks including framing, measuring, and assembling wood structures
- Handle forklift operations for moving raw materials and finished products safely within the warehouse or production area
- Perform machining tasks with precision to meet project specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet company standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or construction environments; warehouse experience is a plus
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and forklift operation
- Knowledge of carpentry, woodworking techniques, and machining processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools such as calipers accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with construction or machining is advantageous but not mandatory
