Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
- Support cooking processes by following recipes and kitchen procedures
- Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all food safety regulations
- Serve meals efficiently to customers or staff as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Organize and stock supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow proper food handling protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with meal plating and presentation when required
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving customers or staff in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
- Previous kitchen experience demonstrating reliability, efficiency, and teamwork skills
