Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Pump Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating concrete line pump safely and efficiently on various construction sites and driving from site to site in Calgary and surrounding areas. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete pumping operation, and ability to drive a 1 ton flat deck pickup with a small concrete trailer pump.
Responsibilities
- Operate concrete pump and truck on public roads and job sites.
- Set up and inspect equipment prior to use.
- Coordinate with construction crews to pump concrete accurately to designated locations
- Maintain communication with site supervisors regarding progress and any operational issues
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in concrete pumping
- Mechanical knowledge of construction machinery and troubleshooting skills
- Valid class 5 drivers license with good driving record
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Punctuality and reliability. Good time management skills.
- Must have own transportation for commuting to work ( same location every day)
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $40.00 per hour
