Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Handle cash transactions efficiently with proper cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation by adhering to food handling guidelines and sanitation protocols
- Assist in food preparation and serving to ensure prompt service and guest satisfaction
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills, ensuring all guests are attended to promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery and address any special dietary requests or concerns
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas, dining spaces, and service stations in compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for billing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Strong communication skills for effective guest interactions and teamwork within the restaurant staff
- Previous kitchen or food industry experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in serving and food prep tasks
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $15.90-$26.65 per hour
