Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing attentive guest services throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation when necessary and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Follow all restaurant policies related to sanitation, safety, and service standards
Skills
- Experience with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is a plus
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor
- Kitchen experience or restaurant background is advantageous but not required
