Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles, trucks, and industrial equipment using hand tools, power tools, and specialized schematics.
- Conduct maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, electrical system troubleshooting, and system calibrations.
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Utilize welding skills for body repairs or component fabrication as needed.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to accurately identify issues and implement solutions.
- Assist with the assembly of parts or components during repair or maintenance procedures.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair is required.
- Experience working with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery is preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, electrical systems, and industrial equipment operation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dealership environments or similar service centers is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance procedures.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills along with good communication abilities to assist customers effectively.
