Registered Pharmacy Technician – Full Scope with Blister Pack Leadership
Location: Peterborough, ON | Pay: $29–31/hour + performance incentives

We’re looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) to join our collaborative team. This is a full-scope role, with a primary focus on blister pack technical checking, but also includes narcotic reconciliation, refill verification, and product checking. You’ll contribute meaningfully across workflows and be trusted with responsibilities that support both safety and scale.
What You’ll Do
- Perform technical checks of blister packs and refill prescriptions
- Conduct narcotic reconciliation and ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations
- Support pharmacists in workflow alignment, ensuring accurate and timely medication release
- Engage in internal audits, product checks, and process improvements
- Contribute to documentation, inventory flow, and daily operational excellence

Qualifications:
- A diploma indicating completion of a community college Pharmacy Technician program, or equivalent.
- Registration with the OCP as a Registered Pharmacy Technician
- Recent community pharmacy or comparable applicable work experience
- Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology, aseptic techniques, manufacturing and labeling standards of practice, pharmacy mathematics.
- Basic typing and computer skills
Benefits:

Paid annually based on measurable improvements in the blister department’s revenue and cost-efficiency compared to the prior year.
