The Opportunity
We’re looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Horticulture Technician.
This is not just a maintenance role.
You’ll be trusted to manage your own route, work independently, and represent the company directly with clients.
For the right person, this role is designed to grow into increased responsibility over time —including involvement in installations, client-facing work, and potential leadership of other technicians.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Service interior plants across a scheduled route (watering, pruning, pest management)
- Work independently while managing your own time and responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with clients and represent the company on-site
- Identify plant health issues and take action
- Assist with installations and upgrades (planters, green walls, feature plants)
- Maintain clean, polished presentation in all client spaces
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and consistent – shows up and follows through
- Comfortable working independently most of the time
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Good communication and professionalism with clients
- A quick learner with strong problem-solving ability
- Interest in plants, hands-on work, or design
- Experience with plants is an asset, but not required
- We can teach the technical side — we’re looking for the right mindset
Requirements
- Access to a personal vehicle (required – vehicle allowance provided)
- Comfortable with physical work (lifting/moving plants and materials)
- Ability to work in a variety of environments (offices, commercial, residential)
Compensation
- $23–$25/hour (based on experience and capability)
- Vehicle allowance + gas support
- Opportunity for increased responsibility and pay over time
