Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. This role requires a strong background in plant management, production planning, and lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
- Develop and implement production plans to optimize efficiency and meet customer demands.
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure operational reliability.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Monitor quality control processes to maintain high standards of product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain for timely material procurement.
- Train, mentor, and develop plant staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plant management or operations management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production planning processes and systems.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality control methodologies.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
