Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk and Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse management systems, supporting efficient order fulfillment and distribution processes. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely to load and unload goods
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against orders
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP, and AS400 for inventory tracking and order processing
- Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing shipments for delivery or storage
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and receipts
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations and maintaining cleanliness
- Conduct basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order quantities
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred
- Proven ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, or similar equipment safely
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP systems, or AS400 is a plus
- Experience with order fulfillment, order picking, packaging, and shipping & receiving processes
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution practices within e-commerce or retail sectors is advantageous
- Basic math skills necessary for inventory counts and measurements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
