We have over 15 years of sedation-free, anesthetic-free, and stress-free service with partner locations across BC. We're a mobile business that works at different locations, so if you don't like staying in one office space and you love animals, this job is for you!
We are looking for a General Assistant located in or around the Langley area to help us with:
Clerical duties:
- Scheduling
- Phone calls
- Emails
- General office duties ie. data entry, filing
On-location field duties:
- Setting up/tearing down technician’s stations - helping carry supplies/equipment
- Receiving and releasing pets before/after their appointment
- Assisting technicians during cleaning
- Helping carry and manage dogs and cats of all sizes if necessary
- Taking payments and customer interaction
We are a mobile business that works at different locations throughout the Lower Mainland, as well as team trips to the Okanagan once a month from Spring through to Fall. This means you must have a flexible schedule and be open to adapting to changing schedules.
Requirements:
- You must have excellent customer service skills
- You must be an excellent multi-tasker
- Ability to use tools like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.) and Google Drive, Email etc.
- Ability to use a Smart Phone to take on-site photos
- You must have a valid BC Driver's License and a vehicle for transportation to mobile locations around the Greater Vancouver Area, Fraser Valley and Okanogan.
Preferences:
- Experience with dogs and cats such as grooming or veterinary assisting is preferred
- Live in or around the Langley, BC area
You will be working directly with the owner as well as other technicians. Uniforms will be provided.
Hours and Pay:
2-3 days per week (16-24h per week), M-F with Saturday availability as needed.
$19.00/h plus tips and travel bonuses when applicable. You will also receive full benefits after 3 months of working! Altogether after 3 months you're looking at an increased hourly rate worth up to $20/h
