Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Customer Service team member to join our vibrant bubble tea shop. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in food service or as a barista is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea drinks, smoothies, bowls, and other beverages following company standards.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to ensure a positive experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and cashiering procedures.
- Assist with food preparation and food safety practices to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space throughout shifts.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers efficiently during busy periods.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or cashiering roles is beneficial.
- Good math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is a plus.
