Newmillenium Tire Sales & Truck Repair Ltd. is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team in Calgary, Alberta.
We are looking for a motivated technician with strong diagnostic skills who takes pride in producing quality work and keeping commercial vehicles operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance and commercial vehicle inspections
- Troubleshoot engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, and air systems
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Maintain accurate repair records and communicate findings with management
Qualifications
- Previous experience repairing heavy-duty trucks
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with diesel engines and commercial vehicle systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Journeyperson certification is an asset but experienced apprentices are encouraged to apply
