Experienced Flat Roofers with a minimum of 3 years flat roofing experience with a valid drivers licence.
Wage is based on experience and ranges from $25 to $40 an hour.
Safety tickets, especiallyFall Protection Training is an asset, but the successful applicant will be provided paid training for Fall Protection training if they do not have a current valid ticket. All other safety training will be paid as well when the necessary training is required.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, or replace roofs using EPDM, TPO, PVC, and BUR roofing materials
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas
- Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them
- Ensure that all work is completed according to safety guidelines and building codes
- Clean and maintain work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of different roofing materials and installation techniques in various roofing systems
- Ability to safely use tools and equipment required for roofing projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and address roofing issues
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and precise installation
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and perform lifts of up to 100lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
