Overview
We are currently seeking a qualified and dependable DZ or AZ truck driver to join our team. The successful candidate must hold a valid DZ or AZ license, maintain a clean driver’s abstract, and possess an up-to-date CVOR abstract. Additionally, they must demonstrate proficiency in operating manual transmissions safely and efficiently.
The primary responsibilities include transporting materials to construction sites while upholding the highest safety standards and ensuring operational efficiency. This role requires a solid understanding of heavy equipment operations and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to construction sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate daily work logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and job site personnel regarding any issues
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported and job site activities.
- Follow all safety protocols while working on construction sites to minimize risks.
Requirements
- MUST provide a valid DZ or AZ driver’s license
- MUST provide a clean drivers abstract and clean CVOR abstract
- MUST be able to operate a manual transmission
- MUST provide a minimum 2 year Letter of Experience from an authorized Insurance Company
Experience
- Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with loader operation, and other heavy equipment is essential.
- Knowledge of construction site operations and safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members on-site.
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
