Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, safety awareness, and the ability to troubleshoot various issues efficiently. The Maintenance Worker plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, functional, and clean environment for all staff and visitors.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs.
- Conduct inspections on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other mechanical equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
- Assist with installation of new equipment or fixtures as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during work activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in building maintenance, repair, or related fields preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general carpentry skills is highly desirable.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation between sites or facilities.
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures at all times.
- DZ license to assist with picks ups and deliveries between the winery and offsite warehouse.
