we are locally owned dedicated to exceptional customer service and professional home delivery. We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Furniture Delivery Driver to join our Delivery team in Calgary.
[1]What You'll Do:
- Safely operate a 5-ton delivery truck throughout the Calgary, Lethbridge area, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Lift, carry, and professionally set up heavy furniture (up to 100 lbs) in customers’ homes.
- Work alongside a delivery assistant to safely unload, pack, and sometimes install.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and communicate delivery schedules proactively.
- Complete vehicle pre-trip inspections, maintain delivery logs, and report any maintenance concerns.
- Safely secure merchandise using straps and padding to prevent damage during transit.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 3 years of commercial experience operating a 5-ton truck (or equivalent commercial vehicle).
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract with Air brake.
- Physical endurance to perform daily, repetitive heavy lifting and carrying.
- Strong English communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay Rate: $190 per day (based on experience).
- Schedule: Full-time, day shifts. Local Calgary-area, Lethbridge deliveries mean you are home every night.
