Job description
We are currently looking to hire a Registered Psychotherapist/Clinical Therapist/MSW to join our growing team. We are looking for a driven and passionate individual who is looking for a collaborative approach to client care as well as family therapy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Report to the Clinical Supervisor
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions in a clinical setting
- Conduct family therapy in a clinical setting
- Utilize a client-centered approach and ensure well-coordinated care
- Create and maintain progress notes, reports and any other written material required, in a timely manner
- Ensure proper clinical interventions are implemented
- Participate in clinical team meetings as needed
- Assist with research projects as needed
- Maintain the high standards of practice required by SAMH
- Ensure all aspects of confidentiality and data protection relating to both SAMH and individuals are maintained at all times
- Participate in individual performance reviews and respond to agreed upon objectives
- Attend clinical, case management and managerial supervision as required
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Mental Health or other related health field
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working as a Psychotherapist/MSW/Therapist
- Carry professional liability insurance
- Be a member in good standing with a college or professional association, ie. CRPO
- Able to work independently & as a team and provide detailed and accurate daily reports
- Maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities by keeping up to date regarding professional standards through reviewing current literature, attending workshops/seminars and networking with colleagues
- Experience in addictions considered a strong asset
- Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Dedicated, committed individual looking to apply clinical skills in challenging/stimulating environment
- Willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Police Check

Experience:
- Clinical Therapist: 2 years (preferred)
