Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, managing guest interactions, and supporting the overall operation of the restaurant. Prior food service or hospitality experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a passion for customer service. The Server will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Assist guests with menu selections, upselling specials or additional items to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and work areas in compliance with health regulations
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and providing correct change
- Support food preparation tasks when needed and adhere to all food handling safety protocols
- Demonstrate excellent guest services skills by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and handling transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in hospitality or guest services roles is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Wine and cocktails will be in consideration for selection.
Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
