Position Summary
The AZ Driver will operate commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently. This role focuses on vehicle operation, compliance with transportation requirements, and supporting reliable delivery operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate AZ Class commercial vehicles for transportation activities according to assigned routes.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, trip documentation, and required transportation reports.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify safety or maintenance concerns.
- Coordinate with dispatch teams regarding routes, schedules, and delivery requirements.
- Monitor cargo loading and unloading procedures to ensure safe handling of materials.
- Follow applicable transportation regulations and company safety procedures.
- Manage delivery activities while maintaining communication with operational teams.
- Review shipping documents and verify load information before completing deliveries.
- Report vehicle issues, delays, or operational concerns to supervisors.
Requirements
- Valid AZ driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles in a transportation or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and commercial driving practices.
- Ability to complete vehicle inspections and maintain required documentation.
- Ability to follow delivery schedules, routes, and written instructions.
- Strong communication skills for coordination with dispatch and team members.
- Ability to manage transportation tasks while following safety procedures.
Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
