We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and enterprise applications through manual and automated testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure product quality
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure software releases meet quality standards and business requirements
- Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
- Experience with:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Cypress or Playwright
- Postman/API Testing
- SQL and database testing
- Test case management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
- Experience in defect tracking and root cause analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation
- CI/CD knowledge (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum environments
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Performance testing experience using JMeter is a plus
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Pay: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
