Medication Administrator – Full-Time
Location: Résidence O Bons Soins – Shediac, NB
Résidence O Bons Soins is seeking a dedicated and dependable Medication Administrator to join our team and provide exceptional care to our residents.
Schedule
● Full-time
● 5:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
● 7 shifts bi-weekly
● Every other weekend off
Responsibilities
● Safely and accurately administer medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
● Complete medication documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
● Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns appropriately.
● Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
● Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment for all residents.
Qualifications
● Previous medication administration experience is a strong asset.
● Experience working in a Special Care Home, Nursing Home, or other healthcare setting is an asset.
● Must be fluent in both French and English (spoken, read, and written).
● As a bilingual facility, we are committed to providing care and services in the language of each resident’s choice. Therefore, only bilingual candidates will be considered.
● Must be able to reliably report to work for a 5:30 a.m. start time, including during inclement weather. Candidates residing in or near the Shediac area are preferred.
● Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
● Reliable with an excellent attendance record.
● Willing to learn and participate in ongoing training.
● Able to work independently and as part of a team.
