Job Summary:
General labour and daily assigned tasks.
This is a position for renovations for existing properties.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and clean-up of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills to support carpentry, framing, and other tasks
- Perform general construction tasks including caulking, painting, flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration work
- Support plumbing and welding activities by preparing materials and assisting skilled tradespeople
- Operate construction equipment safely under supervision and adhere to all safety protocols
- Help with site organization by maintaining tools, materials, and work areas in a clean and efficient manner
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction techniques enhances your ability to contribute effectively
- Knowledge of carpentry, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, or restoration work is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong attention to safety procedures and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe work environment
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
