Security Guard
Titan Security is a company based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia, established in 2016. Providing various services, such as mobile patrol, loss prevention, event and static security, and long-term care support, our focus is how we can better support our communities, especially the people within them.
Duties and responsibilities
· Conduct regular patrols to maintain a visible presence and deter any unauthorized activities
· Report anyone suspected of theft, vandalism, or violence.
· Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including emergency situations
· Ensure all safety measures are in place to protect the establishment, tentants, and patrons.
· Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
· Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary
· Incident report writing.
· Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Key Skills and Qualifications
· Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods
· Strong observation and surveillance skills to identify potential security risks or suspicious activities
· Excellent communication skills to interact with a diverse range of individuals, including employees, visitors, and law enforcement personnel
· Knowledge of business and management principles.
· Knowledge of basic security protocols and procedures
· 1+ years of experience in a Security Guard or Customer Service role.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
