Bannister Cadillac Kelowna, a division of the Bannister Automotive Group, is hiring a full-time, permanent Automotive Service Technician to join our service team in Kelowna, BC.
This is a technical, diagnostic, and repair-focused role in a busy dealership service department, supported by manufacturer training, modern diagnostic equipment, and an experienced shop team.

Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor

Inspect and test mechanical units, automotive systems, and components to locate faults and malfunctions

Inspect the motor in operation and road test motor vehicles

Diagnose faults and malfunctions, and confirm findings with the supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace the unit

Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
-
Repair or replace mechanical units or components

Test and adjust repaired systems to the manufacturer's specifications

Perform scheduled maintenance service

Complete reports to record problems and work performed

Education: Trades certificate or diploma in automotive service technology. Red Seal endorsement an asset.

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of automotive service experience

Valid Class 5 BC driver’s licence with a clean driving abstract

Confident with shop and diagnostic equipment, scan tools, electronic work orders, and dealership management systems

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right the first time

Wage: $36.60 to $45.00 per hour, depending on experience and certification
