Job Title: Barista
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating delicious beverages. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea drinks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, such as espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar area
- Follow food safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
- Assist in restocking inventory and supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cashiering or customer service preferred
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Willingness to learn and help out in various tasks related to food service
