Looking for a Pet Groomer with experience. Must be able to do complete grooms And a Pet Care Specialist.
As a Pet Care Specialist, at All 4 Paws Playcare Inc., McCrea Heights, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of pets in our care. This position involves providing high-quality pet care services, including feeding, grooming, walking, and monitoring the health and behavior of animals. You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for pets while delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners.
Duties
- Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in pet areas, in and outdoor, including kennels and play spaces, ensuring a hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns to management promptly.
- Build strong relationships with pet owners through effective communication and customer service.
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, nail trim and brushing pets to keep them clean and comfortable.
- Perform heavy lifting when required, such as moving pet supplies or assisting larger animals.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to pet care.
- Must be able to intervene when necessary to prevent altercations and ensure the safety of our fur friends and staff.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in the care of larger pets or moving supplies.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals with a genuine interest in their well-being.
- Excellent observational skills to identify changes in behavior or health of pets.
- Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
