Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder/Millwright to join our manufacturing and construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, installing, and maintaining heavy machinery, and structural components. Your expertise will ensure that equipment and structures are assembled accurately, safely, and efficiently, supporting our commitment to high-quality production and reliable operations. Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) to join metals with precision and strength
- Use plasma cutters, hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
- Rig heavy machinery or structural elements safely using appropriate rigging techniques and equipment
- Install ductwork, mechanical systems, or structural frameworks in manufacturing or construction settings
- Operate cranes and forklifts to move heavy materials or equipment safely around the worksite or shop floor
- Read schematics and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and installation of machinery or structural components
- Maintain safety standards by inspecting tools, verifying proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Support machining activities by setting up or adjusting machine tools as needed for fabrication tasks
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues or misalignments during installation or maintenance processes
Skills
- Proven experience in welding techniques including MIG with a strong understanding of welding symbols and procedures
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery components, assembly processes, and maintenance practices
- Skilled in rigging techniques for lifting and positioning heavy equipment or materials safely
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and schematics accurately
- Familiarity with plasma cutting tools, hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other fabrication equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation
- Experience with crane operation and forklift handling in industrial environments
- general construction experience is a plus
- Ability to use schematics effectively for troubleshooting or assembly tasks
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes combined with the ability to work efficiently under deadlines

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
