Responsibilities
- Assist with food prep including chopping, marinating, portioning, and measuring ingredients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation
- Follow recipes and standards to ensure consistency in quality and presentation
- Execute dishes across stations including grill, sauté, fry, and oven
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth and timely service
- Assist with plating and finishing dishes as needed
- Monitor food quality and inventory levels, communicating any shortages
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Take direction from chefs and prioritize tasks during service
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, features, and kitchen processes
Skills and Requirements
- Experience as a line cook or prep cook in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Team-oriented with clear communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
