Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
- Take food and drink orders accurately, offering recommendations when appropriate, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff and bar team.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, such as garnishing drinks or setting up stations to support smooth service flow.
- Handle food safety and hygiene practices diligently, including proper food handling and cleanliness standards.
- Manage cash register operations or POS systems efficiently while maintaining accuracy in transactions.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, responding to inquiries about menu items or dietary needs to enhance their overall experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant service or food industry roles is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and barista experience is a plus.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality field.
