Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their dining experience
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining quality and consistency
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, to accurately process orders and payments
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen stations and dining spaces, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with upselling menu items to increase sales and promote special offers
- Follow food handling protocols to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
Skills
- Previous food preparation and food service experience preferred but not required; training provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; ability to operate cash registers accurately
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Ability to work well in a team environment within a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Enthusiasm for upselling menu items and providing exceptional guest experiences
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 38.0 per week
