Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of medical instruments and endoscopes used in patient care. Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and sort used medical instruments and endoscopes and devices for reprocessing
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical equipment following strict protocols and manufacturer guidelines
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and AER washers accurately and efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of reprocessing activities, including sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance
- Ensure all instruments are properly assembled, packaged, and labeled for distribution to clinical areas
- Adhere to infection control policies and safety procedures at all times
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for procedures
- Perform routine quality checks on sterilization equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Medical Device Reprocessing Certification and Registration Required

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
