Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your marketing skills within a healthcare environment. You will support our marketing manager by assisting in campaigns, managing online content, analyzing performance metrics and other responsibilities as needed to help grow our brand presence.
Duties
- Support the marketing manager with day-to-day marketing projects
- Review and organize existing photo/video footage and identify content opportunities
- Organize and maintain marketing assets, files, photography and video libraries
- Assist with editing and preparing photo/video content as needed
- Make corrections and updates to patient forms and existing marketing materials
- Research and conduct outreach for partnerships and collaboration opportunities
- Assist with content shoots, events, and other marketing initiatives as needed
- Help track projects, deadlines, approvals and outstanding tasks
Ideal Candidate
- Entry level candidate who is eager to learn and grow
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong understanding of social media
- Familiarity with Canva and content creation
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and/or Premier Pro is a plus
- Basic design and video editing skills are needed
- Able to take direction and feedback and apply it accuratley
- Works well independently and with a team
- Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail
- Formal marketing education not required; practical skills, aptitude and willingness to learn are most important
