Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Shuttle Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Duties
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles along predetermined routes within the facility, ensuring punctuality and safety at all times
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing friendly and professional customer service
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues or maintenance needs, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the shuttle vehicle to ensure a safe environment for passengers
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during vehicle operation
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding schedule updates or operational issues
- Keep accurate records of trips, maintenance checks, and passenger counts as required
Requirements
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues
- Proficiency in English for clear communication with passengers and team members
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate routes and relay important information effectively
- Prior experience in shuttle operations is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- Ability to maintain focus during long shifts and operate vehicles responsibly in various weather conditions
- Able to drive manual shift vehicles
